MY JOURNEY

MY JOURNEY

For around twenty years, I worked as a trainer and consultant in transport and logistics. I trained employees and advised company managers, particularly on regulations governing the transport of dangerous goods.

I enjoyed the human contact, the exchanges, sharing knowledge and supporting people. But over time, the subjects I was working with no longer interested me. They did not feel deep enough or personal enough. For me, something was missing in terms of meaning.

At the end of 2016, my mind was constantly overactive and I felt that it would eventually affect my health. I started meditating on my own with a book, Zen Meditation for Dummies. After three months, I felt I was going around in circles and started looking for someone who could guide me.

Someone was recommended to me, although I knew almost nothing about him. He was a yoga teacher and suggested approaching meditation through the practice of yoga. I was not particularly interested in yoga at the time, but I agreed to try.

I then practised at home almost every day. After a few months, I could feel that something was changing, both physically and mentally. So I continued.

I had also had asthma since adolescence and was taking medication every morning and evening. After about two years of practising yoga and pranayama, I noticed that I was no longer experiencing the same symptoms. At the beginning of 2019, I stopped taking my medication and since then I have not had another asthma attack.

This experience strengthened my interest in what these practices could produce concretely in the body.

Through yoga, I also became much more attentive to physical sensations. Spontaneous movements began to occur during some practices, and I started to become very aware of what I perceived as energy in my hands. Through conversations with my yoga teacher, the subject of magnetism gradually emerged.

I began experimenting with people around me and observed effects. So I continued. The following year, my yoga teacher encouraged me to start offering sessions and to set a fee. Everything developed through word of mouth and, from 2020 onwards, people I did not know began coming to me through recommendations.

Over the years, I continued exploring and practising. Breathwork, awareness of physical sensations, voice and chanting gradually came to complement yoga and energy work.

Over time, I observed that regular practice had very concrete effects on my body and my mental state. It taught me to spend less time systematically looking for explanations and to pay more attention to what I was feeling and what was changing.

I do not believe that everything can be resolved quickly, or that simply thinking positively will make difficulties disappear. Some changes take time, practice and personal involvement.

Today, the support I offer has grown out of this journey. It brings together the body, breath, voice and awareness with energy work.

The first 4-session programs I facilitated confirmed what I had already sensed: active participation allows a person to move beyond understanding alone and give more space to what is actually felt and experienced.
